Fall 2008 Catalog
In past years, the Griffin catalog was distributed at trade shows and other functions as a full product reference — a categorized, indexed book listing every current product, along with its description and compatibility key. However, as our product line grew and grew, the catalog became unwieldy and impractical to distribute and ship.
In other words, our product line had outgrown the role for which the old catalog had been designed. We decided to rework the catalog as a lightweight, visually compelling featurette, rather than a product bible.

The result was a 16-page, 6.75” square booklet printed on heavy, glossy stock. Complete listings and compatibility icons were replaced by vivid full-page photography from Bradley Spitzer and just a dash of product information.

By leaving the informational heavy-lifting to our website, we were able to be more creatively flexible, The lighter catalog was also easier on printing & shipping budgets, which is never a bad thing.
